Ronni McGlenn, Bellevue (President and WOW Program Director)
Ronni is co-founder of Washington Outdoor Women. Laying the groundwork in 1997, she served as the 1998 inaugural Westside coordinator, 1999, and 2000 as co-coordinator and 2001-2006 as lead coordinator. In 2006, Ronni assumed the position of WOW’s Director. Ronni is also a past chair of the Wetherill Nature Preserve Commission. She is a life member of the Izaak Walton League and a past Division President for Washington. She and her family have strong Northwest roots and a commitment to sustainability and habitat/wildlife conservation. Ronni is an accomplished hunter, angler, and backpacker. She likes to hunt wild turkey and waterfowl. She is responsible for WOW’s program development, PR and fundraising, sponsor procurement, instructor recruitment and teaching directives. Ronni is also an NRA-certified shotgun instructor for WOW. She helped facilitate WOW’s newest workshop, a partnership with Orvis for the summer Fly Fishing Expo at Rockwood. She developed WOW’s Introduction to Waterfowling, and is hoping to create the Wee WOW program (for kids) before retiring. (Next year is year #15)!
Brad Johnson, Marysville (First
Vice President)
Brad and his wife
own Habitats NW, a company specializing in the
development and sustainable integration of
wildlife habitat, organic farming practices,
and recreation. Brad also has been with The
Boeing Company for 20 years. He represents WWF
on the Washington Department of Fish and
Wildlife's Game Management and Upland Game
Advisory Councils. (Executive,

Mark
Heckert, Puyallup (Second Vice
President)
Mark is a fish,
wildlife, and wetlands biologist and
consultant. He has served as a biologist with
the Puyallup Tribe, as a technical director for
the Native American Fish & Wildlife
Society, and as the director for the Willapa
Alliance, a regional conservation organization
in southwest Washington. Mark is a past
president of WWF. (Conservation,

Steve Phillips, Seattle
(Treasurer)
Steve is retired from the Boeing Company where he held various finance and contract management positions. Steve has been active with WWF since 1993, having served previous terms as vice-president and president. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Save Our Wild Salmon. Mark Quinn, Lacey (Secretary))
Mark retired from a 31 year career
with the Washington Department of Fish and
Wildlife where he served as a local area
manager, regional biologist, and Lands Division
Manager in Olympia. Mark has
worked in various positions for the
U.S Forest Service, Weyerhaeuser, The Federal
Highway Administration and Grant County Public
Utility District. Mark has been active in
Pheasants Forever, Ducks Unlimited, The
Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, The Washington
Wildlife and Recreation Coalition, Ducks
Unlimited, The Sierra Club, The Nature
Conservancy and The Trust for Public
Lands. He is involved with the Olympia
Climate Action Group advocating for clean
energy and climate change legislation.

John McGlenn,
Bellevue
John is principal
and chief engineer for a multi-discipline
engineering and architecture firm. He is the
vice chairman of the management board for
Intermountain West Joint Venture, a board
member for the Wild Salmon Center, a trustee
for the Wild Steelhead Coalition, and is
involved with many conservation
groups including Ducks Unlimited,
the Izaak Walton League, and the Washington
Wildlife and Recreation Coalition. John serves
as chairman for his local parks board, and is a
past Washington Fish and Wildlife Commissioner
serving two terms (12 years). John is a
founding member of WWF. (Executive,

John Douglas,
Olympia
John is a fisheries
biologist who retired after 30 years with the
Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. He
has been an active member of WWF since it was
established in 1989. John has served in other
organizations including Ducks Unlimited,
Washington Rivers Council, National Wildlife
Federation, and with the Pacific Coast Joint
Venture and Pacific Intermountain Joint

Bob Rosenthall, Seattle
Bob is a semi-retired veterinary oncologist who moved to Seattle from northern Virginia in late 2010. Inspired by the Trout Unlimited mission, he returned to school at George Mason University to earn a Masters Degree in Environmental Science and Policy (2009). He served his local TU chapter as state council delegate and Conservation Chair. He served the Virginia Council of TU as its Vice-President for Policy. He also has experience working with the National Wildlife Federation/Teaming With Wildlife. In his spare time, he’s trying to figure out the very different fishing environment the Pacific Northwest presents and taking fiddle lessons.
