Present a One-Day Workshop:

Introduction to Waterfowling

Saturday April 4, 2009 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

(at a Private duck club in Snohomish County near Monroe)

By the end of the day you will become familiar with the history of waterfowling, its traditions, ethics and conservation efforts. Try setting decoys, calling ducks, and patterning a shotgun. See what it’s like to sit in a duck blind and then watch the controlled eagerness of a Labrador as she/he retrieves! Learn about the necessary equipment a duck hunter needs and the latest clothing designed just for women. This is a hands-on, active day, conducted in duck hunting terrain! It will require lots of walking and potentially challenging wading conditions. Knee high rubber boots or hip boots are a must for the ponds and blinds.

Registration fee: $85

The registration fee includes all instruction, equipment, shotguns, ammunition, clays, lunch, and a Washington Outdoor Women T-shirt.
